We are looking for experienced, passionate, and talented radiology doctors to join our growing team at Ganesh Diagnostic Centre.
Radiologists are specialists in the medical field with degrees of MBBS and MD in radiology, DMRD and DNB. They hold scientific expertise and artistic interpretation within the reports to uncover the problem within the human body. The profound contributions of radiologists in diagnosing diseases using imaging techniques such as X-rays, Special X-rays, Computed tomography (CT), Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Color Doppler and Ultrasound. They diagnose health issues and aid the guiding treatment plans for patient care. As technology continues to advance and medical imaging evolves, radiologists always remain at the forefront, diligently working to resolve the secrets that lie within and improve the lives of countless individuals around the world.
When it comes to education, Radiologists complete around 13 years of training that includes medical schooling, 4 years of residency, and most often, an additional one- or two-year fellowship of very specialized training, such as radiation oncology, pediatric radiology, or interventional radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the medical histories of the patients to ensure the medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
- Suggesting alternative imaging techniques, if needed
- Informing patients in detail about the imaging process.
- Using modalities such as Ultrasound, CT Scanners and MRI machines.
- Directing radiology staff to carry out the image-guided and diagnostic procedures.
- Working with radiology lab technicians for perfect-quality of images.
- Independently interpret and report on a variety of imaging studies.
- Arranging the written result reports and diagnoses.
- Following all medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or any other emergency condition, when needed.
- Must follow all ethical and professional standards of practice.
